Shaky

It was a rough exam week.  Flu weighed me down every day.  Normally I'd say, "Well, the paper grading will just have to wait until I'm up to it," but this week it couldn't.

It didn't help that I'd lost all of Wednesday.  Having to grade six sets of exams instead of five was also a drain.  I was tired all the time and couldn't get caught up.  I finally got the papers graded and recorded, but I couldn't face posting the grades, so I'm going to do that later.

I'm still tired and shaky.

I was hoping to escape it.  No such luck.

A flu bug is ripping through the school.  Many students and teachers have been laid low, and it's exam season.  I've been washing my hands a lot and being careful, but yesterday I started feeling bad.  By late afternoon, it was clear I was sick.  I laid out my first hour exam just in case and went home.

We only have two exams per day, and I have second hour prep.  This meant only first hour would be sitting for an exam and I'd be fine second hour.  I was hoping I'd be functional enough to show up, give my first hour exam, and go home.  But . . .

At three in the morning, I woke up feeling horrible beyond horrible.  I called in.

Bleah.
